TU in the 2025 State Legislature

The Oregon Legislature is in session and Trout Unlimited staff, state chapters, and volunteers have been working with the Oregon Water Partnership, Oregon Conservation Network, allied conservation groups, legislators, lobbyists, and the Governor’s office on multiple bills concerning fish, wildlife, water, and the funding of key state agencies and programs. The session is scheduled to run until June.

For a detailed overview of TU’s activity and stance on various House and Senate bills, see the Oregon Council of TU’s March newsletter here.

As part of the Oregon Water Partnership, along with numerous other conservation allies, TU staff have helped author several informative fact sheets relating to 2025 priorities and bills. Check out OWP’s Resources web page for more information.
